Position Overview:

The General Manager will oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of BlindsFactory.ca, including sales, manufacturing, human resources, customer service, and overall business strategy. This leadership position is critical for driving growth, maintaining productivity, and ensuring an exceptional client experience across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations across departments (sales, manufacturing, administration)

  • Lead team members by example; motivate and develop staff

  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategic goals

  • Ensure efficient scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain coordination

  • Maintain compliance with workplace safety, employment, and industry regulations

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Qualifications:

The Outdoor Sales Representative is responsible for building relationships with customers, conducting in-home consultations, measuring windows, and offering customized blind and shade solutions. This position requires a persuasive, personable, and organized professional who enjoys client-facing work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit clients at their homes or businesses to provide consultations

  • Accurately measure windows and recommend appropriate products

  • Follow up on leads and generate new sales opportunities

  • Educate clients on product features and financing options

  • Prepare and present quotations and close sales

  • Log client information and appointments using CRM systems

Qualifications:

  • Prepare walls and apply adhesives properly

  • Install wallpaper with precision and minimal waste

  • Correctly align patterns and minimize air bubbles

  • Ensure clean and damage-free finish

  • Communicate with clients and design team during installs

  • Clean up work area after each job

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional wallpaper installation experience

  • Install different types of window coverings including roller, zebra, Shangri-La, honeycomb, Roman blinds, shutters, and drapery rods

  • Conduct on-site measurements and ensure accuracy

  • Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and provide solutions

  • Demonstrate product functionality to clients post-installation

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work environments

  • Communicate with sales and admin teams to confirm project scope

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in window blind or shutter installation

  • Skilled with drills, levels, saws, and other hand tools

  • Ability to work on ladders and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Valid G driver’s license and own transportation preferred
